What is Krutrim AI?
Krutrim was India's first AI unicorn (Jan 2024), founded by Bhavish Aggarwal alongside Ola. After early consumer-LLM ambitions, Krutrim pivoted in late 2025 to sovereign GPU cloud and Indic-LLM infrastructure, releasing the Bharat-2B open-weight model. Lessons from that pivot inform much of ONROL's coverage of Indian AI strategy.
